| Media Cabinet in Solid, Recycled White Oak. |

| Detail of mouldings at top of flanking cabinet. Every bit of wood used in these cabinets was hand planed / scraped for final finish. |

| Detail of upper section. The curved post to the left is 7" x 12". The "lamb's tongue" carvings in these photos was all done by hand. |

| Side view of upper section. Note the custom moulding profiles. Each of these profiles was hand drawn by Architect Andrew Chary. I carefully traced his drawings and sent them to my knife maker, who cut the knives for our moulder. Once we had the knives, we turned Andrew's vision into beautiful custom mouldings. |

| One of the doors. The bead board used in the doors was made
in-shop. The featured beads were hand cut with an antique Stanley #55
Moulding Plane.
Behind this door is a state of the art entertainment rack system (see bottom photo). |

| To right of door above, detail of "Milk Bottle Legs". The depth of this cabinet is only 16", yet it accommodates a rack system that is over 10" deeper. We did this by constructing an opening into the wall behind the cabinet, and letting the rack system go into the room behind it. |

| Center section - speaker fabric panels. The posts feature a
hand carved tapered lamb's tongue. Note the black grill in the bottom
of the first toe kick area. This is just part of the air intake that keeps
the rack system cool.

| A long look at the Bar, prior to final glass top installation. Dimensions on this bar top are approximately 22" x 109". |

| Hand Carved Posts and Rail of Bar. One of the challenges we faced during this fabrication was coming up with a way to pre-cut and pre-finish the base board for the post with all 4 corners mitered. The solution was to cut the base board tight to the post, then hand plane the post with enough taper to slide the base over it, but still keep the base board tight at the bottom. |

| This view highlights the two 8" x 8" Oak posts that anchor the bar. In order to make the bar stable, we had a steel Tee fabricated and put through the floor, attaching it to the floor joists. Our posts were split in half, hollowed for the steel and glued back together prior to finishing. During installation, we lowered the posts over the steel, using epoxy to make the connection rock solid. |

| Media Cabinet During Installation. The photos are deceiving, in that this Media Cabinet is 12' long, and over 8' high. Dave (pictured here) is 5'10" tall. |
